The UK doesn't like you or your fetish

This is leaving me a little skeptical. I did a little googling after seeing this thread and saw a similar article from 2014 that had the same list claiming that all of those things had just been banned. (source: http://tinyurl.com/p24wpew) British wetting fetish sites that were around during that article are still around today.

Different ruling. In 2014, they required ISPs to filter that content by default, but you could then opt-out.

I'd tell them to piss off. At the time when everybody hails sexual freedom, inventing new genders and such, fetishes like this are still looked down upon like we're in medieval times. Do we need piss-pride parades as well now? Or a "fifty shades of yellow" erotic novel?

The problem is that most of the things on that list (yes, even watersports) are in the 50 shades... series, so that's obviously not having much effect on their idiotic rulings.

The issue really on that is that we're in a sexual dark age AS IS. where ALL FORMS OF SEXUALITY are scrutinized to one extent or another, with the issue here specifically being that even as sexual freedom is starting to get its due, and 'kink' is becoming even kinda accepted, we're on what is seen as the far edge of it.

It's a sad indictment of our times that things are becoming less tolerant and less progressive.  It's a tragedy given that in many ways it's a better time than ever to be something other than a straight white male.  I really wish Theresa May would just piss off.  Maybe she could use use a good old golden shower?

These kinds of statutes are rarely for the express purpose of prosecuting random offenders directly.

Basically, if you're an activist gaining traction, or a prospective politician looking to shake up the establishment, these types of bans allow those in power to gag you, discredit you, incarcerate you, or disqualify you, before you effect any change.

If you're an omorashi-loving activist surging to popularity in the UK, they'll use their new rolling 12 month internet history logs made mandatory by the IP bill to pin you to a few wetting videos, and threaten to prosecute you for them unless you give up the fight. Simple as that.

These politicians don't care what you get off to, and surely some of them share the same kinks (note how they're explicitly exempted from the ISP history logs...). They just want another way to beat down opposition quietly if they need to...
