Because in our language there are no prepositions at all like english (for, by, on, in, upon, to and so on). That has been the hardest thing to me learn good english. In our language words end differently and ending tells if something is "on" or "in" for example. I almost never know when it is for or to or by... Link to comment

Yes, that is certainly a difficult language for English-speakers to learn, just as much as Russian is. I don't of any other languages that lack prepositions, but I'm very knowledgeable of how prepositions work in language, if you'd like me to help explain their uses. Link to comment
